Cloud Engineer
Vill du bygga en hållbar, digital infrastruktur?
We are looking for a skilled Cloud Engineer with an enthusiastic mindset to join our Infrastructure and Security team. This team is the heart of Kivra and is building and supporting a large, scalable platform for all our services. The platform provides distributed systems that handle all our data with great reliability and security.
What you'll do
You'll play a key role in Kivras Infrastructure and Security team, where you will work alongside great colleagues and be a driving force for developing, maintaining and improving the GCP infrastructure, as well as have an advisory role towards the rest of the organization in explaining the architecture and system solutions. You will develop, take ownership and drive implementation of new tools in order to make our cloud infrastructure more efficient as well as maintain and improve our current environment. And always with a focus on the security and stability of our services!
Our technology buzzword bingo; :
Hybrid cloud based on Google Cloud Platform and on-prem Kubernetes platform
Containers for all (well, almost all) workloads
Automation and provisioning using ArgoCD, Terraform and Ansible
HAProxy, Google LB, KrakenD
Prometheus, Zabbix, Sentry, Pagerduty, Splunk, Loki
Erlang and Golang backend services
Riak and PostgreSQL databases
Kafka and Cloud Pub/Sub
Required skills
Who you are and how you fit the team is super important. We thrive on being nice and helpful to each other and to the rest of the company!
But to have fun at Kivra you also need to have strong skills in Google Cloud Platform, Platform Engineering, Linux, Enterprise level IT system management and automation (e.g. Ansible/Terraform) paired with an equally strong sense of service. You have worked with Cloud Engineering, CI/CD and Devops for some years now and are therefore well versed in working in various types of cloud environments. You like taking technical ownership over the things you build and, to quote ourselves, “always with a focus on the security and stability of our services''
Desired skills
Previous experience working with Kubernetes and Terraform is a big plus. Moreover, a solid understanding of containers and container orchestration would make you an even stronger candidate.
The role also gives you the opportunity to specialize even more in the cloud environment and be our internal spokesperson for its best practices. We are looking for someone with a strong skill set and past experience within our tech stack. We have a very warm and friendly culture and we expect you to take part in that naturally. We thrive on collaboration and teamwork, we expect personal initiatives and love strong opinions based on facts.
We offer
Kivra offers a place in a committed team with the opportunity for a high degree of innovation. You will be involved in influencing Kivra's exciting business and product development of a service that is currently used by more than half of Sweden's population. One of Kivra's values is happy-happy, which is also reflected in the concern for Kivra's staff. In addition to collective agreements and wellness, we offer a number of other great benefits.
How to apply
Easy peasy, just send in your CV and cover letter as soon as possible. If you have any questions regarding the role or the recruitment process don’t hesitate to contact Sarah Ohlsson, Talent Acquisition Partner at sarah.ohlsson@kivra.com.
