Design Lead

Are you our next Design Lead?

About Kivra

At Kivra, we want to contribute to the development of society. That is why we challenge old truths and develop smarter and more sustainable solutions for your important things. In this way we create peace of mind. We ask ourselves every day if there is a smarter way to make the world a little better for people  and the environment. Why should trees be cut down, pulp produced, paper printed and mail delivered - when we can instead send the mail digitally to your  mobile without unnecessary intermediate steps? And why worry about not finding important papers stored in binders, shoe boxes - or any other physical place - when it can be collected where it is always available? The same applies to receipts that we have digitized. In the same spirit, we are also building a new business around our corporate mailbox. Kivra currently has over 4 million users and over 30,000 affiliated companies and organizations that send documents, invoices, doctor appointments, receipts, pay slips and much more.

Are you our next Design Lead?

We're looking for a strong product design lead to help us continue to create the best possible service  for our users. You’ll contribute to defining the user experience across all our surfaces and channels, partnering with product management, research and engineering to make sure we continue to lead and innovate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Kivra’s visual design in all digital channels, including both UX and UI perspectives and being comfortable mastering both worlds.
  • Partner with our head of UX to lead Kivra's design work through best practices.
  • Drive the evolution of our design language together with your peers from the engineering, design and marketing teams.
  • Contribute to the development of our design system in cross-functional teams.
  • Drive and participate in the entire creative and development process, from idea generation, exploration, concept development and prototyping, to testing, launch and iteration.
  • Support the development of our brand experience.
  • Mentor and coach within UI best practice.
  • Contribute to shape our culture through collaborative and inclusive leadership.
  • You will report to our Head of UX.

Who you are

At Kivra we value great attitude. Simple as that! For us it’s important that you want to join a young team and work hands-on in a dynamic environment where both fast decision making and longer term strategy are part of the challenge. We also think that you:

  • Have a strong understanding of user experience, interaction design and visual design.
  • Are a systems thinker and have experience creating design systems for product companies.
  • Are a champion of inclusive design and accessibility approaches.
  • Are comfortable defining cross-functional processes and adapting to rapid changes.
  • Enjoy mentoring and leading efforts across multiple teams.
  • Are comfortable carrying out tests with users.
  • Have excellent project management skills.
  • Are a confident communicator and are able to articulate ideas verbally and in writing. English is required and Swedish is a plus.
  • Are comfortable working with motion and sound.

Moreover, you have previous experience working with the full Design System cycle - strategy, implementation and documentation for cross-functional teams. You know how to work with both strategy as well as execution and you have previously worked together with various stakeholders from both tech and marketing teams. You have the mindset and methodologies to understand internal and external customers and you are energized by serving their needs effectively. Additionally, you have experience establishing design principles for iOS, Android and web and working in Figma. In this position you have the opportunity to coach and mentor our designers, so it’s a plus if you have previous experience from a similar role.

We offer

Kivra offers a place in a committed team with the opportunity for a high degree of innovation.
